Fairtrade

Unlike most coffee shop chains ALL of Beans’ coffee is made from freshly ground Fairtrade coffee. We do not use any other kind. Beans works tirelessly to find new and exciting Fairtrade products to stock and replace our existing product range, however we do not compromise on quality.

Fairtrade guarantees a fair and stable price for products that enable farmers all over the world to support their families, and crucially, invest in a better future. The Fairtrade mark is an independent label which appears on a wide range of retail and catering products as a guarantee that disadvantaged farmers and workers in the developing world are getting a better deal from the product. Recycling

Recycling is something we feel very strongly about, we recycle as much plastics, glass and paper as possible and use ethically driven waste management companies. As well as recycling our own waste we also source as many recycled packaging products as we can, and with the introduction of our fully compostable takeaway products – cups, lids, straws and containers – we hope to keep our footprint small and do our bit to make this a sustainable world.

Charity

We are always happy to support local charities, and have an area near the loos dedicated to publicising local charitable or art events. We also love to provide raffle prizes or sponsorship for good causes.
